annoying feedback

people have been giving me and propably others bad feedback for merely stating opinions, and yes i and many others can get mad and deserve bad feedback, some of the rep given to me was well deserved but a lot of it was not, for instance, i dont like gravity, and i have been given multiple neg reps for that opinion, giving me bad rep is not going to change the way i feel about that company, nor is making rude remarks about it either,
also when people read posts in a different way than you meant it, they automatically think your being a dick and neg rep you, if you dont like someones post, wait a few minutes untill they post again, and if they still sound like a jerk, neg rep them, same goes for advice, if you give someone false advice its not necisarily on purpose, just maybe a simple mistake, try and correct the person before negative repping them, if they agree with the correction you made, then be cool about it, but if they be a dick about it and say your wrong even though your right, that is the time for bad feedback,
think before you rep please

Reputation was a good concept, but it's become more of a popularity contest.

I wouldn't sweat it. People can usually learn more about you by what you say than the number of green (or red) squares under your avatar.

thats very true but its kind of annoying, cause now it seems like all the people that neg repped me have some sort of bitchy teenager grudge against me, and then i like looked at there friends list and it seems like an endless chain of rosewood hating douchebags

Seems to me from the posts that got you neg rep you deserve most of it. But hey that's just my opinion. It doesn't look like you're complaining about people giving you pos rep for "merely stating opinions." Can't have it both ways champ. If it's really that big of a deal to you re-read something you yourself posted.

yes that one i deserved, me and blix got off on a bad start, i promised him id give him good rep, but first i must spread some reputation, i have posted some pretty controversial posts and those i do deserve, but i think its 5 neg reps for not liking gravity i have, i think thats a little stupid, i think people agreeing opinions is better deserved rep than disagreeing with my opinion

they are just extremely overated is the main reason, i like there glove, but thats about it, in my opinion there as good as sector 9

i also hate the flex on all gravity boards ive tried, and i have given them many chances

The goal is to participate in the site and somehow retain your temper and dignity and maybe you will even say something of value now and again. If someone does not like your post, then they can do the Rep thing or give you a little flame. Just keep riding and sharing, and don't worry about whether everyone likes your posts - just post em anyway, but also read others responses (sometimes the dick's do have something of value to say).

Btw, I neg repped you because you keep talking trash on Gravity without any valid reason why. Back up your statements with better arguments than just "they suck", if you want to be taken seriously.

What happened before is no problemo, I`m not holding any grudge for that.
