Buyer Beware crazylongboarder

I ordered some Randal 150's from this guy on March 14. Still have not come yet.
He said 2-3 day shipping. But it has been over 2 weeks.
I emailed him and PMd him but he has not replied.
I am really bummed, becasue i needed these for my new ceviche...so now i have to buy some new trucks because i am a pair short.

If anybody knows crazylongboarder or can contact him, please let him know that i have not received the trucks yet. I hope it was just a mix up, but it was probably a scam...

Damn that sucks TeacherOfTehWays. I'm really sorry about that. If you paid with Paypal make an official claim or if you paid through your bank take up a claim directly with them. You have a decent chance of getting your money back.

There seems to be a number of issues arising with the classifieds section. I wonder if we can tweak how it operates to reduce these kinds of problems.

Maybe you have to have a certain amount of status as a member to be able to sell and buy otherwise you have to deliver the goods before payment is received or something similar.

Just an idea, any thoughts?

i second the notion for that classified requirements.

Or maybe used respected and well established members as a mediary. Like pay the middle guy, then the gear gets shipped, then once the gear is recieved the middle man pays the money to the sender. Something like that

that dude is way busy and he takes a long time to answer mails but he does so yeah..
last i know is that he was moving .. forgot from where to where ..so yeah... maybe that's why he is so late with replies
not backing him up for being so bad on shipping but yeah, maybe you can wait a little and see what happens...........

That just sounds like a pain in the ass

On SomethingAwful, you have to be an active member for 7 months before you can use the classifieds. Another forum I visit requires that a city and state or zipcode is required for all ads, on top of a certain amount of productive posts. Just a thought.
