    Default Hockey shinguards

I have seen some vids of people using hockey shinguards while skating and it seems like a good idea. I was using just regular knee pads but the sides of my legs keep getting torn up from the road when im sliding. The thing is I cant think of a good way to keep the shinguards on my legs since hockey players use tape and stuff while playing. Does anyone have any ideas or experience on how to keep these things on my legs? Are they comfortable to use?

You could look into bike pads like these:

Those are sick, but I actually just picked up some free shinguards from my buddy who plays hockey. I want to try and make them work before I spend a bunch of money
