    hey,

does anyone use one, like the one from 661? Is it comfortable? Is it worthwhile?

plastic armor and plastic armor suits are no good. The low friction of the plastic will make you slide down the street and into the other lane, trees, ravines, off cliffs etc.
Leather has a high friction coefficient and will stop you relatively quickly thus reducing your chance of slamming into a distant object

yes get leathers and wear a pressure suit or spine protector under it. best protection right there. wish more guys would do that. and for slower runs maybe wear it under a tshirt, hoodie, or leather jacket.

and yes, they are fairly comfortable and designed to breath.

its a POC, one of the nicer ones you can buy, it's designed for downhill skiing and i got it to wear under my leathers but i've grown a little and now its too tight-but i still wear it when im not wearing my leathers (if i remember).
Super comfortable, really hugs tight to your bod, goes really high and really low. I definitely recommend it.

Thanks for the info Crappy. So you cant wear it under your leathers anymore? Is it because the fit of the leathers, or the fit of the back protector? I got my NJK's with the built in back padding, without considering fitting them for an underneath back protector. Didnt think about it but have since had a lot of itnerest in back protection. My NJK's fit me almost perfectly as they should, an Im afraid I wont be able to wear any type of back protector under my leathers

As for my opinion on pressure suits, I Would say put the money into an actual leather jacket. They can be found on ebay for really really cheap, new and used. A lot of them have built in armor already that will match anything a pressure suit will offer, so to me the obvious choice would to be go for an inexpensive leather jacket. Textile jackets are also an option, so its something you may look into. Just type in "textile motorcycle jacket" into google or ebay.

textile doesnt hold up as well and it tends to be baggy..
if you re-read my post you see that i said i have grown and thats why it no longer fits under my leathers

I rock an Alpinestars SM-X Bionic Jacket and I like it. True it may not stop you near as fast as leathers, but I feel very protected in it, and in the summer heat in Texas it can't be beat. 100+ degrees in leathers does not make for fun skating.

I have an Alpinestars pressure suit as well. (I am wearing it in my avitar photo) I wear it for super GS or anything over 30mph. It is very comfortable but I did remove the large back protector on it. I mainly wear it to protect my shoulders. There actually are a lot of pressure suits to choose from on the market.

What about a Sette Impact pressure suit? Looks like it's got good protection for cheap cost.
