Default Lighter to make slide glove

I got a lighter adn some cutting board, I cut the plastic with a saw, then I just melted it on with a lighter, adn I melted the sides down to it to so it doesnt feel like its coming off, it works great! Its a super easy and cheap way to do it! Opinions on this?

Works okay, can't switch or rotate pucks at all though once you finally decide to get some Black Velvets... Velcro is the best IMO.

If they're just some cheap gloves though go for it. Blowtorch or the like works a bit better though, or you can always take a cheap gas station lighter and crank up the flame a ton.

My friends have also heated a machetti and used that to melt slide gloves

I made a pair of sligegloves by melting cutting board lately, but the pucks keep falling of, so i have to melt the edges over and over again. Any tips about what i should do? and does it matter what glove I have?

velcro it to the glove; make sure that you have the velcro sewn to the glove so it stays connected to the glove. Otherwise use some sort of metal fastener through the glove and into the puck.

oh, and searching is awesome too.

stop melting the edges and melt the whole back of it. that's why you use a blowtorch and not a lighter.

It is possible, I did it with my first set becuase I didn't have a blowtorch, but just go find one they're cheap and much more effective.
