No skin on either palm, no skin on the back of my left hand, no skin on my left forearm all the way to and including the elbow, none on my left shoulder, either knee. I can't lift my right arm because my shoulder feels dislocated. FML. Roadrash sucks ass.

All because one wheel went off the sidewalk, my hanger grinded on the ground and I was bouncing off of the pavement.

I was riding down the sidewalk. I was wearing only a helmet. I had a sleeveless shirt and polyester shorts. I wear gloves every time I'm going out to ride, but I just was messing with bushings and didn't feel like having to take the gloves off and on every 2 minutes to ride down the sidewalk. Reminiscing,

Yeah im currently recovering from scraping my elbow and hip down to the flesh, and taking a ton of skin off one palm. Its no fun at all. Only thing I can recommend is this stuff called Xeroform gauze. Its got like petroluem jelly and bismuth in it, and its directly on all my wounds under wrappings. It feels really good and seems to be helping them heal really fast.

You might have to get a prescription for it though.

Why the hell would you be going 'about' 25mph on a sidewalk? That's asking to get ####ed up. I don't know about you but I can't slide on sidewalks. There are also lots of cracks and hazards on side walks. Hell, a vehicle could pull out in front of you and wait for a break in traffic. I don't what the side walks there look like, but here they are very uneven.

Last time I bailed on a sidewalk, I hit a 4 inch gap and ended up on my back in the middle of the street with heavy traffic. I'm lucky I didn't get my ass ran over. My board shot out and hit the curb on the other side of the road like 30 feet behind me. I don't know how the hell it didn't get hit either. I was only booking it at about 15 mph.

Next time, be more careful. You could end up on the news.
