The time and energy that goes into filling the vents in the holes and redrilling the lid to fit the visor's is no cake walk. If it was really that easy, I'm pretty sure most average joe's would be doing it in their basement or garage or what have you.

Bros, please let me clarify the best I can.

The helmets will not be Bell Drops.
THEY WILL NOT BE MODIFIED HELMETS (ALTHOUGH I LIKE THE BELL DROP PROGRAM WE INITIATED, DRILLING HOLES IN HELMETS IS NOT RECOMMENDED - HENCE THE REASON WE DIDNT RESPOND TO INQUIRIES ON HOW WE DID THE HELMETS YOU SEE IN THIS THREAD.
The helmets will not be Paragliding Helmets.
The visors will be flush mounted like the Charly.
The Helmets dont have a price or an estimated timeframe but we are shooting for approximately 60 days from this post.
If you put your name on this list, please dont go selling your current helmet, unless it's a paragliding helmet, you should get rid of that asap. bad NEWS.

Whoa and thank you for the emails so far on the pre-order. There's no obligation by putting your name on the list, it's just so that if you like the Colabo Helmet (which is not a Bell Helmet at all) then you will be guaranteed to get one on our first run.

The safety will be the a similar or better than the Bell Drop but I repeat, it is not a Bell Drop or a helmet modified.

Is it possible that we get any more information at all about the helmet, as to weight, general shape, options that will be available? Im interested, but its difficult for me to be anything more and put my name on a list without knowing what to expect.

I know you guys dont want to "let the cat out of the bag", so you could maybe just compare the helmet your gonna be using to something similar already on the market, that we know?

Im glad to see some initiative on Colabo's part, with predator planning on a DH specific helmet, and now you guys having something in the works really shows even more progress being made in the sport. I hope it all goes as planned and is a long lasting product. And that Colabo makes a lot of money off of it for more movies 8)
