you guys are correct. both me, joe lehm, the owner of timeship racing and dan pape from colabo have been giving feedback, design ideas, and criticism to matt kelly, the owner of predator helmets with his DH skate specific helmet. if you feel you have any design ideas worth sharing, let me know or post something, we are definetly open to listening to ideas from anyone in the skate community.
to go for a skate is to go for a drift, to explore the streets looking for hidden places, opportunities for creative misappropriation; it is to recombine the artifacts of production and reinterpret the city for oneself-ocean howell

The helmet going to be available through Colabo. It will be manufactured by Predator. David Price and Daniel Pape have had a profound impact in the design of the helmet with feedback and advice on how to improve safety, styling and visibility.

Re: colabo bell drop helmets
How do we able to put our name on a waiting list.......who do we contact?
Old bull and young bull on top of a hill.
Young bull screams with excitement " Old bull, old bull, QUICK come look ".
Old bull walks over and can see hundreds of female cows.
" Quick old bull, QUICK, lets run down the hill and shag a cow".
Old bull turns calmly / slowly and says " why run down the hill and £uck a cow, lets walk down and £uck them all!!"

Re: colabo bell drop helmets
I wanna see how youre helmet turns out.. I'm thinkin about paintin my drop. What color are you paintin it?
You might want to unscrew those things that attach the visor.
-
Re: colabo bell drop helmets
i want to paint them white aswell i will prolly make a thread when the helmet is done
i am not sure though, if i should buy myself a visor or make one out of polycarbonate. I'm not super keen on drilling the helmet, so i might try to make some sort of extension on the charly visor, so that i can mount it to the holes that are already there

The Shield is (HJC) CL-33,AC-3" and the mounting hardware (not shown in photo) is "Base Plate set (HJC) CL-33,AC-3". I have not completed the mounting kit install, been busy with work, kids and skating. The sheild was cut to fit the Bell Drop opening w/ a Dremmel tool and is velcro'd inplace tacked in 6 places along the edge/openings. Sealed with one strip of black electrical tape across the top (looks cheesy, I know). It works well enough for now. I am on the list for the now Colabo helmet, gonna be sick.
