The sheild was cut to fit the Bell Drop opening w/ a Dremmel tool and is velcro'd inplace tacked in 6 places along the edge/openings. Sealed with one strip of black electrical tape across the top (looks cheesy, I know). It works well enough for now. I am on the list for the now Colabo helmet, gonna be sick.

Looks good, Tom! Ive never seen anyone try out a different commercially produced visor other than the charly and made it looks so nice, and its like 1/3 the price. Better then cutting/heating/tinting yourself. Did you have to cut the HJC visor at all?
    Skaters gonna skate.

I see a lot of people are talking about "getting on the list", can anyone tell me how to get on said list? I'm holding off on my full face purchase for this thing so I'd like to make sure I can get one.

PM Colabo Innovations and tell them that their helmet is going to be the shit and you want to be on the list for priority purchase when they come out early next year.

Dan, you guys (Colabo) did such an awesome job on the helmets! I actually made one in red for myself too! Bumped into Brianne at Newton's and she commented on how she loves hers when she saw mine. Haha! I used to love my sixsixone but this one's my new baby

Did you cut the shield? Using what?

    Btw,

Thanks Dan for showing us it was possible to mod these helmets and make them great. I'm so happy I now have a very safe helmet to bomb in.

so it is 300 - 350 USD? with a colabo/predator helmet with a charly visor or is it a whole new visor designed by the two companys? Have you got any ideas on how much it will weigh? and Is it by which standards will it be certified? If the helmets look anything like the ones on the first page i will be getting one for sure

Answers to a lot of those questions are in this thread and another thread (started by David Price?). The helmets should look better than the ones on the first page. They aren't going to be modded Bell's, it's a new helmet.
