This is a closer pic that dan pape posted on ASRA.
A new pivot point is needed for a visor,... that is all.
Even if Bell sold the Drop with a new threaded hole and a separate visor, I think a lot of skaters would be very happy to have this helmet.
I skate with the drop myself...SICK helmet! These that dan made up are even cooler.
Unfortunately, they aren't for sale. Maybe we can hope in the future?

I thought the Charly visors didn't fit drops without gaps on the bottom? In a few of the pics I can clearly see ones with a gap. I can also see a few that look like they have an extra gasket liner on the bottom edges. In the close up they seem to fit perfect.

What gives?
It looks like they might have mounted the screws a bit lower then just cut out a notch near the mouth vent piece.
Just sent a letter to Bell about maybe putting something together where we don't have to mount our own face shield. Might be worth it if you have a few minutes to spare to write out a letter.

Just jot out a letter saying why you like what they do, why you want their lid over others, and give any extra info that you can put in.

sick helmet! i'd definitely consider this as my second helmet since i just got my 661 full comp a few weeks ago.
if only Bell Drops weren't out of stock in most shops where i am. even the distributor doesn't know when/where they're sold. weird!!!
