Default Could I use this to make sliding gloves?

You know those plastic discs people put on heavy furniture to slide them? Do you think that would work for sliding gloves?

I believe this has been tried before, and they really don't last as long as you would think. If you're sliding on say, smooth concrete or hardwood floors, maybe, but roads just rip them up.

Cutting boards FTW. Even ordering pucks online and putting them on homemade gloves saves you a boatload of money.

I'd vote for trying it, but then getting mudslides because they're the ####.

My freind used furniture sliders. They slid okay, but died really quickly. Use a jigsaw to cut cutting board.

I made a pair today with a hacksaw. took ~ 10-15 minutes, and you can buy a cheapo hacksaw frame for 10 bucks. get a decent blade with a low teeth count (I used 18t) and then just sand the edges to get rid of the "hairs"

I used a ?saughtering? iron to cut my first cutting board. Not half bad, you can shape the pucks pretty darn well, but it takes patience.

well i am not voting because I basically have tried it already acouple of time and it does not last...... then I ghettofied it some more... the heat Separates the plastic from the rubber mold they put on their very quik, anyways I wrapped it up with a TON of scotch tape and made one side with velcro and Presto Ghetto slide pucks! works for some time now

    soldering.

At first I was like "WTF is a slaughtering iron?" that sounds like the name of an angry nerd punk band.

Hey, i tried using gardening gloves and cutting board. It was a pretty crap job because i used a hand saw and a glue gun.

They seemed to work alright but im pretty #### at sliding anyway lolz.

I was able to cut through the plastic with a heavy-duty box cutter. I secured it to my gloves and they work great! I need to get some harder wheels though. They are great for making sharp turns though!
