Here are my sliding gloves. I cut out the cutting board with a band saw, used a belt sander to make them smooth on the edges than blow torched the back of the pieces and stuck them on the glove. And for the question about how secure that way is it's a very strong bond between the glove and the sliding puck. Next time i'll prolly use nicer gloves and velcro though. The black on the pointer finger is flint so i can make sparks on my slides.

I bought a pair of gloves and tried to sew on the velcro with floss, like ive been told by my friend who goes on SF daily, but the material is too thick to sew. What kind of glue can I use when the velcro falls off?

    Options of sliding material

Corian samples from Lowes, Home Depots, OSH, etcc
    Slide pucks
    Cutting board

    -------------------
    Options of sticking

Rubber Cement. Pretty durable, cheap at $1.40 or so for a 4oz bottle, (Purchased from Office Depot)
    Gorilla Glue
    Hot Glue
    Velcro

I prefer velcro + a glue. For me, rubber cement as glue
