Bell Drop vs 661 Evolution

They are similarly priced but the evolution has more safety ratings.
Why is it then that the drop seems to be way more popular?
How do they compare? Fit wise as well as vision?
At the moment I'm leaning towards getting the evolution...

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Before cann0n tears you a new one I'm gonna go ahead and say use the search function.
I typed in " 661 Evolution" and found a thread with the exact title of yours from january.
That means you didn't try.

I feel its because the Evolution has that ridge at the top. In general, this makes it a bit less aerodynamic, and also it seems to be a bit bulkier.

Get the drop my man. You won't be disappointed. I've seen almost all the helmets out there...besides the para's, afx (discontinued), and the predator, the drop is the sleekest, has the best visibility, and is pretty damn light. I crashed into a guard rail at 30 with one on my dome. It's a mighty fine helmet.
No doubts the best non para (although the predator looks intriguing...) helmet out there.

haha thats funny cause I did search, alot, therefore I did try. I found that thread and I knew someone was going to say something about it. If you had actually properly searched and read that thread, there is not a single useful post about the evolution in there, they're all mainly raving about the drop... Trust me, I never post unless I have searched.

But thanks to rva and bagelbum for the info, appreciated!
