Picture: Remedy vs Drop

Well I may be getting a remedy from Foxen, but I am still debating whether to jump on this deal or save up for a Drop....So me being my nerdy and crafty self went to photoshop and edited some pictures around so i could see a side by side comparison.

JUst decided to post it up because it helps me to seem them side by side....

Remedy = badass.

Yeah, I know. But Bell really needs to drop that graphic like it's hot.

Who the hell is the target audience supposed to be, anyways? I was ALL OVER the matte OD Drop until I looked at an enlarged pic and saw the cleverly disguised floral/paisley/homo pattern...

Yeah the remedy is new....i'm just waiting for more pics and a shipping quote so i can decide if i want to buy it...

and i don't think the Drop looks "homosexual"......

I actually like it more than the remedy, nice sharp and clean lines with the design of the helmet.

the remedy is a bit curvy in places that i wouldn't want it to be

So obviously im a badass homosexual for owning both - always thought I had a chip on my shoulder!

Seriously though, I'd go with the drop and stick a charly visor on there for good measure. I just fit mine to the drop a couple of days ago without the need to drill holes or the hassle of trying to remove the shell......got my hands on some good old duck tape and thats done the trick.

I also find the drop to be a better fit than the remedy, but if its graphics youre looking for there are hundreds of different designs on the internet, just google them!

which is lighter in weight? the bell drop or a 661 comp?

spraypaint degrades the foam in the helmet and makes it basically useless, be careful with that

also why not save up some money and get a DOT approved helmet if you are skating fast enough to need one

RockGardn "Blacklite" isn't much heavier than a bell drop, like 2.9 lbs compared to 2.4 , its dot approved and has a D ring chin strap and not those plastic backpack clip things

whatever you buy you should go to a place that has one and buy it in person, I tried on a bell drop and it felt like Mattell had built it or something, its a cheap piece of #### if you ask me. Same with the Remedy. They feel like toy helmets compared to something with a nice D ring chin strap and more protection
