fell 40+ today. enough force on my arm/shoulder to straight up break my collar bone. immediately after that impact my helmet hit that pavement. i'd be dead or severely brain damaged if i wasn't wearing it. thanks much, bell drop.

Savage. Sorry to hear about it. I just started wearing my helmet all the time when out on bikes/boards in response to the pleas of loved ones. I also never hit that kind of speed, but it is sound advice. Glad you're still with us.

What will you do during your off time? Play Dragon Age?

My brother's best bud held a speed check into a wall face first two days ago. the slam against the concrete wall totally smashed his nose, and the bounce his head did on the concrete right after split his skull open. So much blood. His brain was slightly exposed, too.

Direct quote from my brother: "I was so scared, dude. So much blood. I ordered three helmets tonight ... never again."

P.S. Totally blows about that collar bone, man. How long do you expect to be off the board ?

Gonna be out a fewmonths for sure. I need surgery to fix it I think.

As for my time. No idea. I only have one arm at my disposal. I guess postng pics of my xrays and stuff will kill time. That and my painkillers
