    Default Ripped Landyachtz glove.

so my landyachtz slide gloves finally came in today
and on the first slide i did, the right glove ripped.

so i called landyachtz to see if they could send me a new glove
and i spoke to a guy named Liam, i think.
he was really cool, and is going to try to get me a new glove.
hopefully he can, because at the moment im slightly dissapointed lol

    here are some pics:

Damn, my LY gloves are super durable. I could ####### eat my gloves and they'd be fine.

One thing I think every skater must learn is how to use needle and thread... I went the extra step and learned how to run a sewing machine.

That too... but I was implying the other uses of sewing, like repairing fabrics. LOL

I sew poorly, but I am a duct tape master. This is my gloves. I just made some new ones with the pucks as the gloves just disintegrated after I got them wet a few too many times. By the time I retired them they had about 3 times as much tape on them.

Don't know where you picked up the floss trick but HELL YEAH! It'd probably be easier to pull through leather too. I used it to sew up trolling baits when I was still around salt water.

That sucks they way that seam failed like that. It's a good thing you called immediately and I'd hope they would send you a replacement, even if they asked for the damaged one back.

LY is good about that stuff usually.

I still have my LY slide gloves from before they ditched the yellow. I kinda like having yellow hands after a good sweaty session

My yellow LY gloves lasted a long time, but I find that when you sweat in leather and then ride in the rain they just slowly disappear. It is pretty weird. Kind of like if you bleached them.
