Default Adding on to my leathers.

I bought a rad $200 set of leathers from Jackets4Bikes on eBay. I've been super stoked on them and they've saved me a couple times. Since they're a stock set I'm interested in adding a couple things but I'm not sure how I should go about do it. Here's what I have in mind.

    1) A yellow patch that goes over my left cheek because my butt goes down in colemans sometimes.
    2) A patch that goes over my right knee because my knee goes down in slides sometimes.
    3) A larger stretch panel on the back.
    4) A stretch panel under my arm pits.

It seems like #1 and #2 would be no problem at all, and maybe even a shoe repair place could do it. However, how could I go about doing #3? I have 2 piece leathers, so it seems like the stretch panel would have to stop and start above the leathers. Is this doable? And the only reason why I am thinking about a stretch panel under my arm pits is because sometimes my leathers yank on my pits a bit.

It's all doable it's just how much do you want to spend. My shoe repair guy charged $20 to repair an 8" gap where the stretch panel separated from the butt panel. He pretty just used contact cement and some stitches. I think you could do that yourself for the knee and butt panels and save yourself some cash. The addition of the pit stretch panel may involve the use of a tailor that will cost you. I am not sure of what you mean regarding the additional stretch panel on the back. I have 2-piece leathers, as well, so I could see the potential for road rash on my midsection in case of a superman event. I'd be interested in a way to fix that.

That's not a bad idea actually. I have fabric glue but I should probably do something more heavy duty don't ya think? Basically what I'm trying to achieve is having one piece that gets ripped up that I can replace, instead of having to fix the actual leathers themselves.

My two piece has covers over the zippers so it's not a problem at all. It's just in the back, the stretch panel is pretty small, especially compared to other guys'. I would just like to make it bigger so I can get in a tuck more comfortably. See how small the stretch panel is?

For the butt/knee patches a velcro style attachment might be useful depending on how frequently you burn through the patches

shoe goo works wonders on bonding leather, you can do all the stitching yourself with dental floss and then cover it with shoe goo if need be.
