    Default molding face shield?

Do I use the oven or a heat gun, also if I use the oven will the hot shield mess up my bran new helmet when I mold it to the helmet, if so then how do I prevent that.
I know about useing velcro but I dont really like that idea.

Ive looked at all the threads in the search F. and all the links so plz dont tell me to use it.

    Thanks, Tommy

if you want to go through the trouble, make a template of your helmet, cut a piece of poly carbonate to fit your template, put it in the oven and let it heat till its pliable but not melty. with some heat proof gloves you can more accurately bend it to the shape of your helmet. the process is kinda a pain. if youre lazy tho......this is a viable option

what kind of helmet do you have?

I tape a light piece of card board over the opening on the helmet slightly bigger than the sheild. I then lay the hot plastic on the cardboard and press with another piece of cardboard and hold until cool.

what's the measurement/threadcount on the bolt and female end (for lack of better terms) that you'd set into the helmet to make the visor flip-able?

Would you have an estimate on the temperature of the oven and how long the polycarb should be in the oven?
