    Default Burton Red Trace helmet

Has anyone tried these? Given how cold the East Coast has been lately, I was figuring that maybe a snowboard helmet would help keep the noggin warm. I have a shaved head, so I lose a lot of heat through there and have sort of become accustomed to wearing a hat or something whenever it's cold.
At any rate, what looked cool is that these are constructed with snowboarding, skating, and biking in mind. I figure, if it's got skating in mind, then it's gotta be good for some noggin guarding!
    Any one have one?

Of course, I suppose I could just go for the whole head/face shield helmet, but seems overkill for a little freeriding...
Yup, it's been confirmed that at the company I work for, I'm officially known as "That Skateboarder Guy". I think I need a shirt or skateboard with the "That 70's Show" logo replaced by "That Skateboarder Guy".
Want list: Carbon Belly Racer, Jefferson, 2011 Deez Nutz, Spindrift, NL Mutt
Reason I'm not getting anything yet: I have WAY too many boards...

We sell these at my shop and I've analyzed them and they seem fine, and even better than most skate helmets, for what we would be using them for it. I mean they're made to protect your noggin from trees, boxes, and rails going at speeds faster than most skateboarders go. I say go for it.

I use a RED Hifi for skating, usually with the earpieces removed. Seems just like a regular skate helmet, real nice.

SWEET!! I think I'll probably get one. Gotta check the $$ first though. I'm still thinking a full face might be good, but then I don't go very fast... We'll see..

On the other hand, there are SO many DEALS... Well, not enough time or money to get it all, right?
