paintball goggles and masks while skating?

so after watching this...

i had an idea to wear one but wondered if anybody had ever worn their paintball goggles and masks with their half shells as sort of like a visor? insights?

i saw someone wearing gogs once when i was up in MI skiing and it looked ridiculous, i wouldnt recommend wearing em while riding it would just be a hassle IMO

I quit playing several years ago. I really do miss it. I was real close to playing in the NPPL when I stopped. It just got too expensive.

I have done this!!! But I would not recommend it to anyone. You may look like a BA to all your friends and passing cars, but all the extra plastic around your face will only be bad when you eat concrete. Also the sides limit your vision extremely bad and sometimes even cause you to mistake the pieces of plastic for approaching cars

But after looking closer at the video I dont think those masks would hinder your vision very much left to right so I dont think you would mistake anything for movement. But up and down may be a problem

If you're gonna get JT's it had better be Proflex's. Other than that JT masks are pretty much garbage. I'm still an avid paintballer, and playing pump keeps it affordable. I think it's more fun too. I love shooting the little agglets in the face hahaha

i was a ref for 3 years, and then i was head of construction at a paintball field for a while just building fields, but no wonder all of the eclipse ish we sold came right back in the store with the most random stuff broken on em

oh and btw, a paintball mask would not offer protection of anykind if you ate it at any kind of speed

With 96 moving parts on each shot and gaskets that blow out if you turn the pressure up at all, it's no wonder they always broke. At least they realized that and came out with the first ego. Now that's a quality paintball gun.

i hear that, ego's are beautiful guns, but im personally more on an dye kinda guy, but then again i still shoot a shocktech dm5 (not really keeping up with the times)

Half our shop is paintball ! Dye and Eclipse are both sick guns for sure! If your just looking for the goggles, then def use the ones from the Pro Flex or the Flex 8, most comfortable frame out there for sure. As far as wearing the mask, like they said before, not gonna be the best for your vision and probably not gonna be that great to have on if you do fall.

Some V-force grills would be sick, or you can mod a "PBborg" like helmet on to it.
