Helmet SafeTY Awareness Campaign

Hey there...

As a longboarder, I was devastated to hear the news that a 20 year old kid from New Hampshire lost his life in a longboarding accident.

I have been working with his family to help them make some light of this tragedy. Please check out our facebook page to help promote helmet safety awareness.

20 year old Tyler Coffey loved longboarding as much as he loved life. That is why his mother buried him with it. In the early hours of 7/13/2009, Tyler embarked on a late night longboard cruise like he did countless other times. Tyler fell from his longboard and sustained a fatal head injury. The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness regarding longboarding safety and wearing a helmet.

Thanks for the link on that Foundation site - that is VERY inspiring. I gave that info. to Tylers Mom - I hope she reaches out to them...

Indeed $7. for a helmet is a great deal
