Probably shouldn't be bombing hill at what looks like 2 in the morning....especially without pads. maybe thats just me though

EDIT: not trying to come off as a dick lol, just wanted to point that out. Either way sucks that happend...get better so you can ride once more

basically i hit a speed bump at 25/30 mph (didnt see it) , got speed woobles, felt off the board, did the typical shoe/glove slide to end hitting a curb with my knee.

this happened yesterday.

this happened daytime, the ambulance took a while to get there. (like an hour or so).

usually the only time i crash on the knees is when the knees arn't wearing their knee pads. hurts too much not to wear them every time.

stupid thing is, i've gone down that hill +100 times.

i was feeling really confident that day and was tucking just looking at the floor (i thought i was more aero hahaha what a ###)

and yes, the anesthesia part was by far the worse, in fact i didnt feel a thing when hitting the pavement, and for the next 2 hours, but then, i almost cried (manly tears ok?) haha.

well that sucks I hate hitting things in the road I don't especially rocks. hopefully it heals w/out complications.

and i know what you mean about the anesthesia part i cut my thumb pretty bad last year (11 stitches) and didn't feel a thing until the doctor started to stick 3in of think needle repeatedly into the cut it was the worst part of the whole thing.

That happened to me, I fell head first off a 10 foot bank. (thank god I was wearing my helmet.) It didn't feel like anything bad happened, like 10 minutes later I look at my shoulder and was like, "HOLY ####!" There was a HUGE blood mark there, and I could see part of the bone haha.

Yeah anesthesia sucks.

damn dude! i know how u feel! i punctured my knee a month ago, just make sure to go to a physiotherapist when its almost healed otherwise one of your muscles will be ####ed and you will have shitty balance on that leg (seriously go do it!!!!)
