I think when I was looking into full faces the azonic T-55 was the best for the wallet, but I am now just looking into a quality regular helmet.

It is not the current model so you can find some nice prices, even as low as $50-$60...

It looks awesome and I have seen it made with shields mounted inside and outside works great with both.

The racing ones are alright looking but the stealthy black is very fast looking!

AFX- 87X. I took a pretty hard fall head first into a grassy hillside going around 33mph and my head was the main part of my body besides me left arm that hit. My head didn't feel a thing, suck a nice helmet. Great visibility as well. Not heavy, but not light.

P.S. Its the helmet to the right..

Remember that most helmets(except some pro-tec) are made to withstand ONE hit.. If cosmic fell at 33mph with his it probably have some damage already, but since he didn't feel a thing he probably didn't take a very hard hit. Slamming your head with a helmet hard is ALOT of pain + can stress your neck alot so don't think you are superman just because you wear a helmet that will keep your brain away from the pavement

It was a grassy hill side, my head left an imprint in the dirt. If It had been cement the helmet would have shattered. But my neck still does hurt a little, along with my shoulder.

I just got the For Flight from Joaqin. Checkout Azonic, Answer, and Bell. For my DOT Timeship I went with Thor SVX. Lot's of choices DH mountainbike lids are a good start. I don't car really just wanted to see my new profile on the fish.

    Just found out this one.
    http://www.belda.cl/faccmx.asp?codigo=ACC13045128
It s Limar. The model name is cruiser bmx. It s a regular open face skate helmet with a removable jaw. It weighs about the same as a skyrunner (670g) and sells around 75euros.
What do you guys think?? It sounds like a cheap solution for a light helmet considering that most mtn bike dh helmet weigh around 1000g....
