Updated HELMET DEALS thread --add yours--
I've been periodically updating two older threads about deals on full face, and open face helmets you can find online. Let's start a new one, covering both. If you're aware of a great deal/good price on a helmet that you can link to, add it to this thread. If you want to talk about whether a particular helmet is any good, use another thread in this same forum. SCROLL TO THE END FOR THE MOST CURRENT DEALS.
Open Face Helmets:
1. The Bell Scuffle, still $9.00 for one and $15 for two at Price Point, HERE. We use these as loaner helmets at SoCal 'fish events...always get positive responses on fit, feel and ventilation. This same helmet costs $38.95 in cookie-cutter black.
2. The GT Ollie, still $7.00 for one at Price Point, HERE. We also use these for loaners, and several skaters I know have bought them. They're identical to another skate-branded helmet that sells for $35.00. I think the construction is not as high-quality as the Bell Scuffle, but they're black and etc...
3. 661 Dirt Lid, $15 bucks at Cambria, HERE. This skate-style helmet is built to better than skate standards, and includes a crash replacement policy from the maker.
4. Azonic Skid Lid, $15 bucks at Cambria, HERE. This one offers excellent coverage for the lower back of your head, and has great ventilation. I know two guys that race BMX with this helmet, where they need ventilation and crash a lot. Available in Army Green...pretty bitchen.

Full Face Helmets:
1. Azonic T-55, $56 bucks at Cambria, HERE.
2. 661 Pro Bravo, $88 bucks at Jenson, HERE. This one's well ventilated, beefy and the visor comes right off for skateboard racers...
3. Giro Remedy, $85 at Beyond Bikes, HERE. The same helmet that Dave Hackett, Lynn Kramer, Kevin Dunne and many more GS bombers use, easily adapted to include a face screen and known throughout the industry as a Very Effective Helmet.

Hey I have been in the market for a fullface latley and I was wondering if anyone knows how heavy this helmet is? I am looking for a lighter helmet but I dont have too much cash to spend. (Got to look for another job) . Anywho if any one could help me out I would Greatly appreciate it.

Just bought one. It weighs 1080 gramms. (about 2.3 pounds) It's light!

The Giro Remedy is actually pretty light. It's not going to be as light as the Azonic's or Icaro's, but its much lighter than the typical Moto-X helmet. Get it if you can get a deal! As a matter of fact, all the posts here are deals!
