    Really, I appreciate it. :]
Gonna keep hitting the hills until it snows and sticks.
the ramps in downtown minneapolis are generally maintained fairly well. if anything, you can get used to your wheels randomly breaking loose on you. if you're going to do that though, don't even think of doing it without helmet/gloves.

Thanks for the advice. I agree that when you relax you don't get the wobbles or it is at least easier to recover from.

grabbing the board adds outside influence on the relationship between your feet and the board.. i only ever grab the board for toeside predrifts

this thread is awesome, but I am really curious on how the tighteness (or loosness) of the trucks effects the speed wobbles. I have been suffering pretty bad lately with wobbles...should I tighten or loosen or neither?

i am a firm believer in "loose trucks save lives".. tighten them a little but dont go overboard, just like you wouldnt go overboard loose.. just practice your tuck.. stand on your board inside in your tuck for like 10min, get your ankles strong, then practice bein very smooth and not twitchy going slow and then go fast, faster, faster, ect.

    practice 100x

I actually got alittle tip awhile back from some locals.

At my gym they have this thing called a bosu balance ball, I stand on that with 20 pound weights in my hand and it helps me hold tuck and keep steady on the biggest of hills, Ive only been doing it for about a week and i already love bombing hills

Tightening your trucks only result in longer wobbles that are harder to bring back in control, in my opinion
