i fell and broke my L wrist. had surgery today and have therapy on wednesday or thursday. then i should be good. just cant do anything extreme

I mmtore a ligament in my ankle. I have been resting it for a week and I got another 3 weeks of rest ahead of me. So I'm gonna have to skate mongo for a while

I was practicing backside slides down a fairly steep hill, I the board I was using was a carve board, so its front loading camber. there was little to no concave were my back foot is, while sliding my foot slipped off and hit my shin really hard. now i have a semi- deep gash in my shin about 4in. long, I didn't realize it till about an hour later when I was walking up a very steep driveway

sprained my right wrist recently which is cutting into my sliding (goofy foot)... guess its time to get better at standups etc.

Thanks man. Gong to physical therapy two times a week for the next month and a half. He told me I can't even skate mongo either so no longboarding for a month. Hope your back heals quickly man!

I dont ever recover from my injuries it seems. My latest are nearly broken leg, pulled groin, road rash on left forearm, road rash on left shoulder, roadrash on right shoulder, and lots of soreness on general.

I had a pretty embarrassing fall today doing the same thing, put my foot down at about thirty five and before it touched the pavement i got some mad one footed wobbles.
Sprained my ankle pretty good(maybe torn tendant)
and roughed up my elbow a bit.

I'm retiring the the back porch for a few weeks to let the plethora of drugs guide my recovery

Weird thing was that it didn't hurt much at all when i did it. i've had badly sprained ankles in the past, so I thought I'd do the right thing and iced it when I got back home and slept with it elevated.
Woke up in the moring and couldn't walk. No swelling at all though

Same here, it happened on the first hill of the sesh and we skated for another hour and i sat in my house for about 20 minutes before it really started hurting.

Thankfully, my ankle is getting better very quickly. I can almost walk normally already. A few days away from skating though
I'm going to go buy a ankle brace to wear for the next slide session.

Right big toe is still recovering from kicking a large metal object (it was either that or a shop tech's head) full force almost 2 months ago... Weakens my tuck big-time.
Word of advice, if you're gonna kick something out of anger, make sure it's cheap, or soft. Or both.
I guess I should keep some giant stuffed animals in shop for that purpose...

Also I keep opening up my right knee. Was almost healed and highsided yesterday. SUPAMANNN.

Heal up quick to all those that need it. Find some drugs quick to all that need those too.

yeah my left hand, that i use for sliding most often, has just kinda healed sort of from stitches (thanks to them being 1 $ tile) lol not sure of using my old slide gloves just yet lol. but i just got into sliding a couple weeks ago so not 100% on it yet. but you better bet that i have been skating!

I've broken both my wrists in the past.. 8 months haha.
I'm still recovering a little bit from my last broken wrist but it's getting better. I'm not in the cast anymore but I still need to strengthen it before I can longboard.
Still at least a few days until I can.
