just got done recovering from a 35mph crash down hill wearing no helmet, shorts and a t-shirt with no gloves or pads= dumb ass....... just got really rashed up pretty much my hands arms and knees were done lol.....got all the pads now ####~!
hit the drivers door of a honda element two days ago when the paniked and stoped rite in front of me. i guess seeing a kid doin 30 at you is kinda scary lol
Went way too fast into a toeside corner, drifted out, slid off the road.
It was a 15 foot drop, I landed right on my back, on a big rock.
4 Broken ribs, lacerated liver & spleen, crushed the apophysis on the bottom of my spine.
Sittin' in bed, hurts like hell to walk.
We must be linked somehow because I also drifted out in a toeside corner, slid off the road, went into a rock on my back right side, wrapped around a pole and got caught in barbed wire, broke my lower (false ribs) and it still hurts like a biiitch to turn around.
Were you by any chance running Sector 9 race wheels? Don't be a silly goose and tell me you had kryptos on there.

I'm a silly goose, I was running those blue kryptos, dead ones too, I can see they core in the wheels... stupid thing too do, but they're just to fun of a wheel I have three set-ups with almost cored kryptos on 'em. The closer you get to the core the more fun they are.
Meanwhile I'll probably have to go a month with no skating...

Damnnnnn bro. I am recovering from falling going 20+ and it sucks. I can't even imagine how awful it would be if I had been going 40. Luckily my back and left elbow took all of the blow and I didn't hit my head.
When I got home from the session I asked my mother if she wanted the good or bad news first. Then I told her the good news was that I learned how to footbrake and slide, but the bad news is that I also learned how to fall.
I didn't get a picture of my elbow, but it has a good 1/4 inch gouge on it.
Good new is that it is that after a week it is almost fully scabbed over!

dude same here. i fractured my skull on like Jan 7th and my helmet came on Jan 9th i think. some times you just gotta wait. hope you heal up quick
i was hitting a parking garage and i just lost control. it sucked. but i didnt even need any stiches are ne thing like that. i just fractured my skull. lol.
On a more serious note, I hope you guys carry insurance. Fell off a 15 foot drop? Broken ribs and back? Overnight hospital stays? Holy sheize man, that sounds expensive. I went to the ER after getting a concussion once, boy was it costly. Im hesitant to skate above 25 mph or so without amazing coverage now. Aflac here I come.
