speed wobbles on a custom 45 going 25 scraped whole left side of my body including my face looked like two face for a couple days

i hurt myself during my california/nevada vacation while skating in death valley.

the roadrash is nearly healed by now, but i still cant walk right and skating is impossible without pain. heres the video how it happened:



i dont know what would have happened if i hadnt been wearing a helmet (which i cracked in two places).

what happened to make you fall

Just got back from an x-ray on my wrist.... Fractured scaphoid cuz im dumb and fell while walking the plank... now I gotta get a cast on my left wrist... Didnt even hurt that much.... Find out its more serious then I thought.... guess ill throw on some wrist guards under my slide gloves next time =/

i tore my calf muscle. i cant take it ne more. hopefully i can get back on my board by next month.

Broken foot in 3 places, getting cast off on 21st and surgery soon after to remove the hardware in my foot and back to skating, this has been torture. Can't wait >.<

I thought I would post here, and "join the club". I broke my fibula, about 4 inches above the ankle on my right leg (8/24/09). I had surgery that include 6 screws and 1 plate to repair the splintered bone, and pull the tibia and fibula back together at my ankle (9/4/09). Looks like another surgery is scheduled for the beginning of December. After some physical therapy, I'm hoping to be back on a board early next year. I learned about my equipment through this ordeal. I want to share with others the danger of Truck Failure. My leg broke while both feet were on the deck. I didn't fall off the board until after my leg broke. It was pretty harsh! I hope quick and complete recoveries for all of you.

ground down that bone that sticks out the side of my ankle...not bad, but isn't healing. everytime I take a sock off, i pull off the scab. ####'s been there for 3 weeks, every other cut ive had since then is healed

hah ive got the same thing... both sides on one ankle. it always takes FoReVeR for that to heal. yay road rash..

Holy ####, what trucks were you using?

I stretched a tendon in my foot skating a few months ago. I'm finally going skating again tomorrow.

I was using a newer Randal 180 RII hanger, with a 35 degree DH baseplate. The hanger came out of the pivot cup during a slide.

well i was run in to about five weeks ago and i was not wearing a helmet and i got a really bad concussion and they are now testing me for nerve damage and permanent short term memory lose

Seems like anymore, if it's superficial.. and flesh woundy sorts.. I recover.. If it's skeletal then not so much..

...the deepest hole part is the size of a nickel, thought i'd be able to see my bone but it wasnt that bad
