best sliding gloves
i know that making sliding gloves are cheaper and also smarter, but lets say i want to give someone a pair of sliding gloves or want to buy professional made ones, what kind should i get?
ive been looking at the loaded 3rd gen sliding gloves but i heard that they arent that durable.
i dont know much about the landyachtz or triple 8 ones because i havent seen reviews of them.
can anyone tell me what are the best sliding gloves i can purchase?
and yes i know making them is smarter and cheaper, but hey i have money.

Re: best sliding gloves
I have the loaded 3rg generation and so do 5 of my friends. They are great gloves and the material is durable as long as you dont drag the wrong side of the glove like my stupid neighbor did to my gloves. The pucks are decent, they slide fine but dont last too too long. Mine lasted around 2 months of hard sliding. I just picked up some black velvet pucks for 10 bucks. They are amazing pucks!!!! EXTREMELY DURABLE and they slide amazing.
Why would i name my board? That's like naming your kid. Ridiculous.
also I'm riding those reflex venom bushings so suck my left nut

Re: best sliding gloves
I have the Loaded 3rd gen gloves, they're comfortable and even fit my gigantic monster-hands. My only complaint is that the material on the backs isn't terribly durable; I fell while practicing colemans and scraped one of my knuckles on the ground for just a moment and it almost instantly wore through the fabric and gave me some nice road rash. I'm thinking about sowing a piece of leather across the knuckles to reinforce them.
I don't think they're really meant to be protective equipment, though, so I guess I shouldn't fault them for not holding up in a situation like that.

Re: best sliding gloves
Depending on what your doing, depends on what type of slide glove you need. For example i like only a palm puck for DH but i like a glove with finger pucks for tech sliding. If your doing tech sliding or just general riding i suggest going to lowes and picking up the 3 dollar generic garden/work gloves, some velcro and then some corian samples. It should cost about 12 bucks total.

Re: best sliding gloves
I have some sector nine sliding gloves, theyre not the BHNC ones but other ones. And they've held up pretty well and i've been using them for sliding and protection for about a year. the only thing that might wear off a little but is the leather on the thumb because there isnt a puck, but then you can just buy some velcro and put a thumb puck on. i like the durability of the gloves and im glad they are leather instead of fabric because it seems stronger. Yes they aren't as comfortable or light as loaded sliding gloves, but still, i like them more because the pucks they come with last long and they are a little more durable because, you never know when ur gonna bail at 30 and your probably not gonna land perfectly on the pucks at that speed so the leather should hold up. That being said i still do recommend the loaded sliding gloves, i just prefer the ones i have.

Re: best sliding gloves
I'm a big fan of my home made gardening glove slide gloves, they are leather and very durable. I've fallen on them many times from many angles and they still work great. I feel like if I bought some nice onces i'd destroy them pretty quickly.
