As for collar bones, very hard to protect. I know MXers who have broken their collarbones even with good protection. I think its a really hard bone to protec and there is so much movement in this area.

However I liked the look of that 661.

I broke my collarbone in 3 paces last year DHing. Yeasterday I had the plate and 8 screws out. Now I have to be carefull as the bone is like swiss cheese with the screw holes!
