    Default Getting gear, need feedback

I figured I should probably get a helmet and some slide gloves, and probably some pads. My style is just cruising around and basic sliding. I also live in downtown San Francisco if that influences any decisions.

What I'm looking at right now are:
Pro Tec Ace Helmet - SXP
    Lush Slide Gloves V4
Some pads. Haven't figured out which ones yet.

Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

gloves and helmet at number 1 priority. helmet saves your head and sliding can prevent crashes.

pads too if you have the money

The helmet and gloves sound good for cruising. I'd be happy with either of those myself.

Knee pads can be nice to have. I'm a BIG fan of 187. Good and comfy knee pads. I'm sure their elbow pads are good too. Knee pads are good for falls and when sliding.
