    Default Draggin Jeans

Has anyone ever used the jeans at the attached website instead of leathers? If so, what did you think?

I think these have been around for a few years now. I looked at them for motorcycling a few years back, but never found them that comfy or secure feeling as leathers.

I was thinking for more casual use for garages, or stealthy road use. Cops see leathers and they know what you aree about to do.

I've heard pretty good things about them on some motorcycle forums so i think they'll be good. you can even get the girls ones if you wanna be more aero

edit: also, there's other brands but they're all about the same price if that matters.

Looks like the Kevlar only covers the area that would be covered by a pair of boxers.. no protection for legs or knees. The shirt, on the other hand, is 100% kevlar all-over. If we all wore those, I imagine there'd be a lot fewer rash pics in the Hall of Meat.

I wonder how hard it would be to make a 100% Kevlar bodysuit out of this stuff? I'm thinking of something you could wear under your regular clothes, like long johns.

They do have the liners in that website. Like kevlar long john pants.

Doesn't look like you have an option to zip the pants and jacket together though.

You know whats funny, these are made in my hometown. Hickory, NC. Hmmm. Maybe they'll sponsor a set of pants for the outlaw, haha.

There are also textile mesh pants and jackets at motorcycle superstore with built it padding. Or the comet skinsaver pants. all can be cheaper than the draggins if you look for closeouts. Could be a bit cooler and stealthier than leathers.

But doesn't the full face and 83mm flys give you away to the cops also?

GO to a thrifty store and buy second hand jeans. Go to a leather repair shop and buy scrap leather. Ask the leather repair shop if they can affix the leather to the butt, hips, and knees. Do that three times. That equals the cost of the draggin jeans or the comet pants.
