I have been cruising around town now on a 46" Sector9 stock, and I've been wanting to learn to slide, but before I go spending the cash on the gloves, I'm curious as to, is it possible for me, 5'11" 165 lb downhiller to slide with such a large board?
Keep it. Nothing wrong with that board. Change out the bushings. I've busted a slide on a 52" 1x6 plank of wood with trucks attached... with S9's NineBall wheels.
Also... Nice job on the highlighting. I wish more people would make things short and sweet.

So I found my issue, I'd tried sliding dozens of times and not once been successful even with my gloves. The issue is I'm riding on 70MM / 75A Nineball Wheels, and 75A wheels.. just a tad soft for sliding. Good news, problem solvable, and very understood.
