Keep the survey responses coming please.
For those of you who are still struggling with the Coleman slide, keep practicing those drop knee turns and it will happen.
You may require more speed once you are comfortable doing heelside carves in this drop knee position. Also the harder your wheels (ex 99a), the easier it is to slide.

1) 19
2) Nearly 4
3) Advanced in my own sort of way (Oh, save the modesty!)
4) Already knew
5) When i learned (nearly 4 years ago) there was no guides or tutorials, just a few crummy videos - took me a month to figure out all the tricks to getting a perfect pendulum.
6) Articles are good but i've taught about 20 people this year how to coleman and with adapting the way you teach the slide to the individual is all part of the teaching. It looks like you need to address a few of the problems like: getting down into the coleman position - Everybody finds that hard initially and some get discouraged: balance in the slide - not letting the board skip out from under you: keeping your hand in the right position - not letting it too far behind: trying to pendulum but never being able to do it - because most people dont let the board roll 180 before pulling it back... lots and lots of problems!
