6) How to's for other types of slides woule be great. Don't need to be as detailed but the pictures and videos helped a lot too. - Thanks for the great article, I'm having heaps of fun and feel a lot safer out on the roads now i can slide.

a bunch of times out before i could get it to come back around

yes - racing tips from both slalom and speedboard racing, pool riding stuff, some sort of comprehensive system of charts on wheels, bushings, trucks covering their strengths and weaknesses and uses for whatever conditions etc. and probably other stuff too.

time sliding: 1 year
skill level: intermediate
learned before article: i already knew it
time to learn coleman: got it about the 6th try, took about two weeks to learn it solid, and about 2 months to learn it solid at ANY speed. hardest part was learning to drop back knee as far as possible.
desired howtos: howto form a crew, howto flatland, skateboarding core skills (what to do without pavement to increase balance and core skateboard skills).

4) No (started doing toeside which seemed easier and then I read this article which made me think I started working on the wrong thing)
5) only read recently and it has got a bit cold to work on it. Will try again using the article.

How many hours or attempts. learned in about 30 minutes and the next day tried a toeside slide and i haven't done the coleman since (its been about a month since i've tried the coleman). It probably took me 10 attempts to actually slide and 20 before i pulled the 180 coleman.
6) Do you wish to see further skateboard related technical articles posted on the fish? Can't think of any now but If you wrote more articles I would read them for sure.

5) After a 1 hour session I could land a 180 degree one 1/5 tries. A couple weeks after that I went to a much bigger hill and got the 360 consistent.
6) How to Flatspin, how to drift a turn, or how to pump.
Very detailed article. I used it and faltown's slideskool and learned how to consistently land one in less than a month.

5) When I got sergio sliders.. the first toeside slide I did with the first try, and then got road
rash "from the skate gods" when I tried a coleman.. took about 7-8 tries for the coleman
