time skateboarding: 2 years
time sliding: 1 year
skill level: intermediate
learned before article: i already knew it
time to learn coleman: got it about the 6th try, took about two weeks to learn it solid, and about 2 months to learn it solid at ANY speed. hardest part was learning to drop back knee as far as possible.
desired howtos: howto form a crew, howto flatland, skateboarding core skills (what to do without pavement to increase balance and core skateboard skills).

3) What is your percieved level of skating expertise, beginner/intermediate/advanced? intermediate
4) Did you learn how to do the Coleman slide after reading the article? Yes
5) If you learned this slide, how long did it take? How many hours or attempts. learned in about 30 minutes and the next day tried a toeside slide and i haven't done the coleman since (its been about a month since i've tried the coleman). It probably took me 10 attempts to actually slide and 20 before i pulled the 180 coleman.
6) Do you wish to see further skateboard related technical articles posted on the fish? Can't think of any now but If you wrote more articles I would read them for sure.

2) 7 1/2 years of on/off shortboarding, 1 year of longboarding

4) Yes
5) After a 1 hour session I could land a 180 degree one 1/5 tries. A couple weeks after that I went to a much bigger hill and got the 360 consistent.
6) How to Flatspin, how to drift a turn, or how to pump.

Very detailed article. I used it and faltown's slideskool and learned how to consistently land one in less than a month.
