Yes, I'm from Italy.
Italian skaters hide in the dark an sneak behind you like ninjas... Seriously, longboarding here has just started and the skaters are very few and scatterd through the country. Plus, most of them is coming from other boardsports like snowboarding or (wind)surfing, so they're not dedicated skaters. But the scene is slowly growing...
We even have a local comany, Silverspace, which produces fine equipment for slalom and is expanding into proper longskating. They supply slalom world champion Luca Giammarco.
Where have you been in Italy? If you come over again gimme a shout.
i was just wondering how tight or loose i should have my trucks and wheels. for the wheels should i make it so theres a super tiny bit of space or should i make them tight so they dont move around. and for the trucks, how tight should they be. loose or tight. im not really sure for sliding.

Yeah, for the trucks it's all preference, although if you like them very loose like i do, you'll probably want to tighten them a bit to handle speed more easily before the slides.
As for the wheels, definitely get proper spacers and thighten them firm (that's much better even for non-sliding, but for sliding it's even more necessary, or your wheels will rattle and chatter throughout the slides and your bearings will have a much harder time).
oh ok cool. i shudnt hav any play at all on the wheels right? and what bearings would you people suggest for sliding. you know, just some heelside powerslides and colemans and stuff and pendies lol

hey I have a loaded pintail and I want to learn to slide, my whells are pink seven ohs, any wheel suggestions.
For that deck (that was my very first) I'd suggest 66mm 84/88a Strikers.
Even better, get a proper slide setup with proper slide wheels (much easier to learn on).
if you have ever goti n to grip tape art dont over paint it. i slipped off my board and broke my leg now im board out of my mind. You have been warned.
hey guys i started sliding not long ago and can do bert, 180 toeside and the one which is like coleman but when u put both hands on the ground
but i have a problem i can neither do a 360 slide nor a pendulum so after every slide i have to 180kickturn
any advice of how to learn to 360 slide or pendy slide?
It took me a while to get it down, but I do the backside 360's like this:
-Start of doing a coleman
-When you hit 180 start to lean forward with your now front hand (the one you're not sliding on during the coleman)
-Slide your back hand alongside/around the tail so that ends up next to the other hand.
-Finish of the toeside and voila. You pulled of a backside to frontside 360.
They're tricky in the beginning, but once you get them down you'll be wowing friends and making people scream (people most often scream when I slide because they think I'm falling off my board).
