so for me i have been using corian which works ok but its kind of a nuisance to keep having to go to home depot and take corian. also it doesn't slide the smoothest as cutting board. But cutting board i dont have an blow torch to melt it and i dont have any around. Back on subject ive noticed that most longboard companys use UMHW to put on their slide gloves. I dont wanna spend 20 bucks on like one puck with a logo on it so where is the best website that you can buy UMHW from. I am maybe going to see if my other friends would wanna chip in and get some in bulk.
Also what is the best thickness to use for UMHW slide pucks?
As for thickness, I'd say something close to 1/2" is common. So either 3/8 or 1/2 or 5/8 or something like that. Any thicker and it gets heavy. Though you could use a thicker one on just the palm if you really do a lot of sliding and find that the thinner ones wear out to quickly for you. (but if you're making your own it'll be so cheap that I don't think you'll mind putting on a new one now and then).

For UHMW, is there a thickness that would be thin enough to bend without using a blow torch? I'm looking to attach a few pieces under my camera case, but I need a thinner piece that would bend around the bottom. I was thinking maybe .125 or .250?
