Any board can slide.

But if you're looking to do 360s and things like that get a pool deck.

you can slide to a stop or just to scrub some speed but for more technical sliding you'll want a shorter board with kicktails.

Learn on your setup now and if you really like sliding and want to do technical slides get a more dedicated slide setup.

I'd check out a TI-84 for that. Check out the Silver edition if you want something a little nicer.

don't get a spud, it's really impractical board.

Get a kracked 40 inch skulls scimtar with randal 180s and a somewhat hard wheel like 81a strikers. Drop through so it's low and easy to push, stable, and easy to slide. and save the extra 50 dollars for a helmet and some stuff to make slide gloves.

Seconded. The KS is a good start board for trying out a lot of things.

Use coupon code NOVA for some discount.
