either go faster and practice or buy a harder duro wheel.

eg: (opinion) i love my slide A's....i wouldn't buy anything else. (opinion)

sergio's are very cool too, i've met guys who slide 66 and 77 strikers, flashback and just regular skate wheels.....

what type of sliding? technical? drifting? commuting on the same wheel also? a little more info would help.

What kind of board? That will help guide advice to size and profile...

If you're riding a pintail (most S9's) then you'll see flashbacks, strikers and powerballs recommended in the higher duro's (powerballs excluded, though slide quite well in the 78a they are)

The more aggressively you slide the wheel the less speed matters. When I coleman a softer wheel I plant my hand earlier and let it stretch my body off the board a bit until the wheels break free.

You might like a rounded profile oldskoolish wheel.

Abec11 Noskoolz in 81a or higher would still cruise well but break out easier.

Its recommended that you get spacers for all wheels if you're sliding. You don't need them but you should get them.
