i cant start sliding yet till i get some gloves, but i have an okay setup for it (i think??????)
its a short board though, i dont know if thats good or bad.

Element new balance fiberlight deck
independent 139mm trucks with risers
sector nine sliding wheels

is this a fairly good setup?

I'd go with sergio yuppies or EW slide a's for slide wheels
I heard s9 slide wheels wear down real fast and flatspot easily

Cause' the sky's gonna' fall
Straight down, Into the world

Straight down, Into the world

Above the sea's cliche
A shadow thrown, into the waves
It's a dream for sure
Suspended by winds with wings

And the sky's gonna' fall
Straight down to the world
And the sky's gonna' fall
Straight down into the waves

Shortboards are a lot more difficult to slide along with the narrow trucks.

yeah the narrow trucks could pose a problem, and i think short boards are a little more difficult because they can get away from you.

i'd get at least 149mm trucks and i'd highly reccomend getting a designated slide deck (such as an Earthwing Jessica Corchia, Drifter, Bigfoot, Gravity Sergio yuppie deck etc.). If you get a designated slide deck, with most decks, 169mm independents will be perfect, with a Bigfoot, 215mm indy's will be good. And of course, slide wheels are probably the most important things on a slide setup, so I would get Earthwing Slide A's.
