I ride goofy and I can only slide with my left hand (right handed) but how do I slide like on my right? It feels very uncomfortable to even put my hand down. Is this normal and how would it be best to learn?

I'm guessing you're question is:
``Hey, I need some help sliding while riding switch.`` Right?
What I did was trying over and over and over again. I had to keep stretching further away from the board to get the slide down. It's still weird to slide toe side while riding switch, but it works.
EDIT:
Or are you wondering how you do one handed slides? Or even how you use both hands and not just your left one?
Could you try explaining your problem again?
Do lots of Pendy's (especially toeside pendy's) that will get you comfortable with switch. Whenever I get stuck in switch, I just toeside 180 back into regular.

No I mean like you know how I ride goofy I face to the left, I can only put my hands down to the left but not put my hands down as if I was riding regular and just croutched and put my hands down. No, I'm not doing switch or nothing.

Practice, get some kneepads so you're not afraid of getting chucked off the front, bend your knees as low as possible so you can get the slide to be nice and smooth and look where you WANT to go.
lol at the stick figure drawing on the left, sorry

thats good advice and really what helps me more than anything is to watch someone else who knows how to do it. Like, when I was trying for a good bert slide, I just watched my friend do it over and over and then I just got it and now I am into bert slide peng. and stuff...
