Exclamation Sliding/Drifting a Bustin Cigar? help

I have a 38" Bustin Cigar with boca wheels and Im having trouble sliding. when I try to slide to a stop or dump speed while carving down a hill I can not get my wheels to loose traction and start the slide, I end up just doing a hard turn and skating off the road. when Im at a slower speed I grab the toe side rail and kick out my back foot. this causes me to spin 180 and get thrown forward, its a tad frustrating. although it does result in sick scabs to show off to the ladies.
