2mm? You can slide with anything..although thinner pieces of material do tend to slide very loud..

Hell, if it's free go for it, whatever works works

velcro not working??? i find that hard to believe seeing as they're only 2mm thick. velcro has been shown to hold much heavier and thicker pucks. what type of velcro is it??

Check the material of your glove..

Make sure youre letting the adhesive really sit on the glove, stick it on and weigh it down for a couple of hours..

If this doesn't work and your glove is thin enough, sew the velcro on with some dental floss..

I'm still a fan of plastic cutting board. It lasts decently long and it is super easy to attach. I actually attach mine using a lighter. Melt the plastic on. Trust me, it works REALLY well. Those suckers are stuck tight. Just make sure to use a gas mask. Melted plastic gives off carcinogens.

The cutting board I used was disgustingly bad, I blew it in about 2 solid sessions on watchtower, went down from an inch to a mm or less (superthin).

just wanted to show people the pucks i molded today with scrap cutting board material form another pair of gloves. i am going to do this from now on because i can make them whatever shape or thickness i want and for super cheap. my other gloves are in the back round.

my uhmw is 1/2" thick and lasts way longer than my cutting board. i guess i should have run it through the band saw and make 4 pucks out of 2.
