went out today to slide for the second time. had fun, got down my toe side slides which were easy, but couldn't seem to get a coleman down. i think it might be because i'm using a trick deck with small wheels so it might just the deck, but it's what i have until i order a corchia. any advice on getting my tail end out for the slide?
Put ALL of your weight on your front hand and throw your back arm across your body. That will unweight the board and put you into a slide. As with all slides, the faster you go the easier to is to break the wheels into a slide.

You really gotta get gloves. You'll hurt your hands obviously, but the pucks allow you really slide and do more complex, longer slides. With out them, you're hands will hardly move across the pavement... but you're wheels will. It will be rather uncomfortable. You don't NEED pucks for quick, split second, almost tapping style slides like quick heelside 180s.
