Default EW corchia vs 38" drifter

so, I'm just really torn on how much wheelbase I need. I learned to slide on a 9.5 x 32 deck, and it's clear that I need more WB for my legs (I'm 6' with a 32" inseam) but I'm not sure just how much. suggestions? I've pretty much decided on an earthwing, but I was also thinking about the 36" "jack the dripper" deck..

The 38 is softer, flexier, the Corchia is stiffer with the extra ply and shorter WB

Length is really a personal preference thing, so sure take our advices but if you can try out boards with different lengths. Rotations are, to me more swift on shorter boards while the slides are more 'under control' while learning how to slide.

I have to slide decks and the one I refer to as short is my EW Corchia 35'' and my long one is the Lush Globe 41''. So when I say that the Corchia is short I mean compared to the Globe.

i used to slide on a 33" deck.

im 6'2" and the corchia was a perfect fit for me. once you get on a more comfortable deck your sliding will get better

I tried a few slide decks and I liked the corchia the best, 5' 9" here, 155 pounds

You're tall and skinny. I'm tall and... hefty (like 6'3 and 230 pounds) and use a 35 inch Rayne Agent. That's more than enough space for me to slide on and I LOVE it like a child. You could do well on a Corchia. 35 is enough for you I'd think and the Corchia is light enough for your skinnier frame to throw around the weight of the board very easily. Get some slide happy, hard as stone wheels and you might have a pretty enjoyable set up.

I'm 6 foot and ride a 38" drifter although I would like to go down to a 35 or 35" as I feel the rotations can be a little difficult. I used to ride a 33" like you!
