Can't say much about the Loaded gloves, never seen a pair in real life. But the lush V4's are SICK, much improved from the V2s, more beefed up in the places that needed it, like round the thumbs.

The Loadeds look like a beefier glove, they extend much further down the wrist and are much more padded. I think it comes down to, do you want a big badass slide glove (loaded), or a nice light cutdown one (lush)?

I ride lush gloves, they are EPIC!

Judging by your post I would head towards the lush ones. However, the loaded ones are a fair bit cheaper. Thoughts?
Cheers,

make your own gloves, its much cheaper and easier... and they will be better than the loaded gloves.

the loaded gloves kinda suck, they aren't durable, they're uncomfortable, they have a big wrist strap and the pucks wear fast as sh!t.

and it isn't worth buying the lush ones unless you're in Europe where lush is.

hahah why are you saying that? is it becase of shipping costs? They cost me like 5 bucks shipping from Europe to the US.

I have both sets of gloves so I may be able to help you out.

The Lush Gloves
Good
-Glove itself is strong, wrist strap is comfortable, velcro is in all of the right places
-Sweat pad of the thumb
-Knuckle protectors have actually protected my knuckles.

Bad
-Finger pucks are good, but the palm pucks melt. Not recommended for technical sliding, puck upgrade needed.

Loaded Gloves
Good
-Pucks last longer than most stock pucks
-Wrist strap is really snug, and there is some wrist padding.
-Added Kevlar strengthens the fingers.

Bad
-Gloves get very hot, my hands have never sweated that much from a slide glove before.
-The knuckle protection is more cosmetic than it is functional.

Overall, you would be stoked with either of the gloves. Each glove has its strengths and weakness but also is unique it is own way. Get a set of either and go skate!

...the latest V4's have a different polycarbonate compound... melting isn't as much of an issue anymore. you really have to be trying (monster one handed surrender slides) to get them to melt now!

I wonder if the meltyness is less over here cos it's bloody cold and raining all the time?

I've never had my pucks start melting, although they were a bit sticky one time... maybe they did....

I second that. It's really easy to make your own sliding gloves, and cheap. I always thought it would be some daunting task, but its really quite simple. Longboard Sliding Gloves This helped me make my own gloves, though I'm sure theres a quality thread about it on the 'Fish. You can also spend more money on pucks, since you saved on gloves. Also, go to Home Depot and you can score some free corian to use as pucks.
