I'm new to sliding, so the first slide I'm trying to do is the Coleman 180. I can bring the board all the way to my back side, but I can't seem to bring it back around to my frontside. Any suggestions?
I've searched the forums and youtube and couldn't find anything.

You have to keep trying it on your board. It's frustrating but eventually it will click. If you want some really good suggestions tape yourself doing it and post it up..
my only other advice is to use your free hand/torso/shoulders to swing you back. if ur regular like me, u wanna like punch over ur left shoulder, then bring ur right hand back to ur right side to rotate back. hope it helps man,
-best o luck

4. realize you are backwards. pee yourself, but only a little.
5. look at the curb/car/something on the right side of the street( if you are regular.) you should slide around. if that doesn't work, torque yourself back over. If you have hard wheels, it will work.
Okay that helps a ton, I appreciate it.
I didn't have any technique on how to bring the board back.
It's raining now, but i'll give it a shot tomorrow.
Do you mean just a heelside 180 or you talking about a pendy?

Start slow with you're weight situated over your board. Just a quick switch. You'll find as you go faster, you can extend it further, time wise and weight wise. More speed means you can expend more of the 180 over a longer slide and that'll make it feel more like a coleman, but pulling it past the 90 which means it will feel more natural to push further out in front of you, instead of keeping you're body over top of you're board.
Essentially, going slow, make it almost like a revert with you hand on the ground. Going faster, make it like a coleman, but quickly tweaking it at the end to the 180.

hold the position that your in and turn your head.
