Your favorite gloves for making home-made slide gloves?
I've got myself a set of beautiful black velvets sitting here unused, because i want some good gloves to mount them on before i waste that velcro.
so im wondering, what's the best glove you've come across for this purpose? I've used some Kobalt construction worker's gloves before and they were pretty decent.
anything i can find at home depot, lowes, ace hardware, etc is preferred. Thanks!

:o No, that was useless to me just tell me so I don't have to put that much effort into it.

if you can, hit up some army/military surplus shops...that's where i got my unbranded mechanix; they were like $5 for the pair

working gloves are good but i used some motocross gloves i got for pretty cheap and are very well ventilated. they also have knuckle protection and are quite comfy. But you wont find them at a hardware store obviously, but i got mine from a local motocross store.

My friends slide with slide gloves made from motorcross gloves.
Right now i have some Dye paintball gloves with some cutting board melted onto the inside works pretty well.

Does the loop velcro stick to the Mechanix very well? I find mine to be coming off my Driver gloves pretty quickly. I'm going to sew it but I'd prefer not to. If this will remedy the problem maybe I'll just buy some more velcro and start over with Mechanix.
