Default Cutting down on friction

I've never heard of anyone doing this... Could be a good reason why. lol

But I was thinking about putting oil on slide gloves (Not the actual glove itself. heh) , and testing them out. You could probably let them soak in oil over night, or splash some on before some slides. I've had some oil that pass through the plastic bottle it came in. So I know it could probably take in the oil, and help cut down on friction.

Has anyone ever done this? I know it might not make a huge difference at lower speed, but what about high speed?

oil unless dumped on the road which would be a bad thing, wont do much, sometimes you hear about oil impregnated or filled UHMW but that stuff only really actually comes into play in self lubricating applications, like a hinged conveyor belt
