So I ride Randall 180's on my slide board, and was wondering, what would I gain from running say, Indy 169's instead?
Another quick question. How do I do a heelside 360? I can coleman, and do switch toesides. I have trouble going from coleman to switch toeside. Am I missing something?

"traditional" pivot trucks (trackers, indys, etc.) are gonna be lower to hte ground than randals, or similar trucks. which, of course, is gonna make it easier to get down, plant your hands, and slide.
and heelside 360? GO FASTER!

faster then the speed you're doing them now by 7.392185442 mph. If you're even slightly off that speed you wont make it.

I agree. I use to skate randalls when I first got into longboarding. Then I went to trackers, much lower. Tried to go back to randalls and felt way too unstable cause of the height. I would've flipped the hangars over, to lower them about a 1/4 inch, but the kingpin sticks out, which sucks for grinding coping.
my tips for the 360 heelside slide...when you start the slide with a coleman, make sure that you get your board in a full slide before you start to move over to your toeside. that was the problem i had...my mind was a few steps ahead of my board. let your board lead the slide, make sure its in a full slide, then turn and put your hands down for the toeside
